T8 is a 106mm Takahashi FSQ telescope based at SSO in Australia. It has a selection of RGB and Narrowband imaging filters. Its teamed with a sensitive FLI Microline CCD.
T8 is a prime imaging platform in the southern hemisphere with exceptional optics and will be able to gather data of APOD winning quality.
IMPORTANT NOTES: T8 is Externally Guided: Please try to limit sub-exposure times to 600 seconds or less for best results. T8 is a Southern hemisphere telescope. Its view to the north is restricted by the roll off roof of the observatory. Northern horizon limit is 75 degree and higher. T8 has excellent views elsewhere.
